Economic resilience will fade in 2023, today's GDP doesn't change narrative: Strategist

Karl Schamotta, chief market strategist at Corpay, joins BNN Bloomberg along Bloomberg's Derek Decloet to break down today's economic data. Schamotta and Decloet note that even as the data appears strong the path ahead for Canadian economy will be messy. Decloet also mentions it will be hard for the BoC to diverge from the Fed when it comes to tightening. Schamotta and Decloet both show concern about wages. Schamotta is short-term bullish on loonie and long- term bearish.
